An Introduction to the Tourism Issues Forum

Providing a roundtable environment to discuss the public policy issues effecting the tourism and hospitality industry is a primary function of the Tourism Development Alliance of Georgia.  The Issues Forum is one way the Alliance engages its members and advocates in dialogue to build consensus and additional support for tourism. 

We have posted a number of the state-wide policy issues facing the tourism industry.  For each issue, we have posted a proposed position statement, as well as other information including white papers, research materials, comments by your peers, news articles, etc.   If you would like to join the dialogue and help craft the Alliance’s position on an issue, contact us by email.

Using the feedback we receive from the Issues Forum and other sources as a guide, we will then develop the official Alliance position on the issue and submit it to our Board of Directors for approval and inclusion in our Policy Priorities.

Alliance Members are encouraged to become part of the dialogue, by joining the Issues Forum, as the Alliance crafts its public policy initiatives.
